These products do not carry the appropriate certification from an internationally accredited research laboratory, proving that the products are tested according to the international standard BS-EN-ISO 140-8 / 717-2. Under the testing circumstances mentioned in this standard, many underlays will perform significantly less with regards to noise reducing qualities.
